The three main sects of Christianity so far are Lutheranism, Anglican, and Calvinism. Lutheranism was created by Martin Luther with his 95 theses, or complaints about the church. Their main belief was that you only need yourself, your belief and a bible to get to heaven. Anglican was made by King Henry VIII when he wanted to get a divorce and the Catholic church wouldn’t allow that. It’s literally the same as the Catholic church except getting a divorce is morally okay. Calvinism was made by Huldrych Zwingli, but John Calvin finalized his work. Calvinist believe that their god has already chosen who’s going to heaven and hell.

Based on the information we have gathered, there are three major sects: Calvinism, Anglican, and Lutheranism. Lutheranism was the christian branch of religion and was Created by Martin Luther. He developed a list of 95 complaints (theses) and this greatly impacted the church. Calvinism was developed and got its name from John Calvin and its main focus was to be different than Lutheranism and have different views than the Lutherans. John Calvin also tried to identify and answer every question about the church and religion. Lastly, the Anglican church was developed in England by Henry VIII and was originated because Henry wanted to get a divorce with his wife, but that is against the beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church, and so he created a branch of religion that allowed divorce. With that said, Henry separated England from the church all together and this had great impact on England because the citizens could no longer take part in the religion that they wanted.

The first sect, and the sect that started it all was Lutheranism. Lutheranism was a more individual way of Christianity. He stated that people did not need churches or indulgences to go to Heaven. All people needed was the bible and God. The second sect was Anglicanism. The only change in this section was that you were allowed to divorce. After that was Calvinism. This way of Christianity was much more strict. What John Calvin believed was that from the beginning God had already selected who would go to Heaven. He also wrote the institution of Christian Religion, which was all the answers to every religious question. Calvinists lived very strict lives because they had the hope that they were selected by God. Huguenots were people who lived in Calvinist communities in France. This started religious civil wars in France against the Huguenots. The Edict of names was the treaty that ended the war.

The three protestant sects we’ve learned about are Lutheranism, Anglican, and Calvinism. Lutheranism was started by a well educated monk named Martin Luther. He was unhappy with the direction of the church so he decided to post 95 criticisms of the church on the church doors. This lead to Lutheranism being practiced and they believed in simplicity, and that all you need is god and the bible, none of the lengthy ceremonies put on in Roman Catholicism. Next, Anglicanism was made by the King of England, Henry VII. The beliefs were the exact same as Roman Catholic, he just changed the belief that no one should ever get divorced. Henry made all of england convert to this religion, because being Roman Catholic was illegal from then on. Lastly, Calvinism was originally started by a clergy member in Switzerland named Huldrych Zwingli. His beliefs and work for reforming from the church was carried on by John Calvin after Zwingli died in battle. Calvin’s church believed in predestination and that they can answer every question with God.

The three main protestant sects are Lutheranism, Calvinism, and Anglicanism. Lutheranism was started by a guy named Martin Luther who wrote 95 problems with the church and spread them around publicly. The major complaint was that people didn’t need a priest, they just needed the bible and God to practice their religion. Lutheranism was primarily located in Germany because he translated the bible to German. Calvinism was started by Zwingli in Switzerland. It was mainly spread by French. It was “published” and carried on by John Calvin who wrote a book which he thinks can answer every religious question that people have. Lastly was Anglicanism which started in England by the English king who wanted a divorce with his wife but couldn’t get a divorce. This practice was exactly the same as the Roman Catholic, but he was able to get a divorce.

Three main protestant secs we have learned about so far are Lutheranism, Calvinism, and and Anglicanism. All of these religions are still Christian, they just broke away and change some different things about it. Lutheranism was started by Martin Luther. He was a monk who was educated in law and religion. He was unhappy with the direction the church was going as in indulgances. He wrote 95 thesis (problems with church) and posted it on the church door. He later than got excommunicated, but he thought he was still going to heaven. He thought you just needed god and the bible to go to heaven. He translated the bible into German, so people could read it. The next section (Anglican) started because King Henry VIII wanted a divorce from his wife. The pope said no, so he told pope him and all of England are not apart of the church anymore. They started the Anglican church. The only different thing from the Roman Catholic church was that you could get divorces. This was only in England. Lastly there was Calvinism. Zwingli started the idea but John Calvin formed the church. He wrote The Institutes of Religion, (the answer to every religious question.) Calvinism believed in predestination and were very strict living. These people were called huguenots.

The first main Protestant Sect we learned about was Lutheranism. Lutheranism was started by a man named Martin Luther in the northern Holy Roman Empire or Germany. He went to law school which meant he was very educated and he applied this knowledge to his understanding of the Roman Catholic church which allowed him to create the 95 Theses, which were complaints about the church, and create Lutheranism. Lutheranism is a little different from Roman Catholic practice in the way that they feel they only need God, themselves, and the Bible to get to heaven. They also felt there were too many ceremonies in the Roman Catholic church so they focused more on individually talking to God without a priest. The second main Protestant Sect we learned about was Anglicanism. Anglicanism was started by Henry VIII who was the king of England during the creation of this practice. He started Anglicanism because he needed to get a divorce but Roman Catholic practice would not allow him to do this. For this reason he removed himself and his entire country from the Roman Catholic church and created the Anglican church which was essentially the same thing as Roman Catholic practice except King Henry VIII could get a divorce. The third main Protestant Sect we learned about was Calvinism. Calvinism ideas were first thought of by a man named Zwingli, but Zwingli died in a protestant war and a man named John Calvin continued with Zwingli’s ideas. John Calvin formed Calvinism in Switzerland and France and wrote the Institutes of Christian Religion which he claimed had all the answers to any religious question. Calvinism was different from the Roman Catholic church and Lutheranism because Calvinists believed in predestination which means God already knows if you are going to heaven once you are born. This caused Calvinists to live a very disciplined life in order to show God they were worthy of going to heaven.

The three major sects of Christianity besides Roman Catholic were Lutheran, Calvinist, and Anglican. Lutheran was the first one, started by Martin Luther in Germany. He was a Monk who saw problems from inside the church. Martin Luther wrote a list of 95 theses and mailed them to the door of the church. Some of his major complaints included lack of spirituality, too much ceremony, and the idea that people could talk to God without the Church if they could only read the bible. Calvinism ideas started in Sweden and were started by Huldrych Zwingli, who died in a Protestant war before the religion sect was established. John Calvin adopted Zwingli's ideas and started Calvinism in France. Calvin mostly agreed with Lutheran but kept some of the ceremony. Anglicanism was started in England by King Henry VIII. Anglicanism is almost exactly the same as Roman Catholicism except for the fact that the Anglican church allows its members to get a divorce. King Henry VIII made Catholicism illegal in England and made Anglicanism the official religion. The English king or queen is the Pope of the Anglican church as well as the monarch.

Three main Protestant sects of Christianity during the Reformation were Lutheranism, Anglicanism, and Calvinism. Lutheranism was founded by Martin Luther who was an educated monk and mainly located in Germany (or the Holy Roman Empire). He wrote 95 theses (or problems) with the Roman Catholic church and posted them on the church doors. Some main complaints were that Catholics focused too much on the ceremonies, relied too much on priests, and had too much lay investiture and simony, which was when non-religious people were allowed to hold positions of power in the church such as bishops and such. Another thing Luther complained about were the indulgences where priests were selling tickets to heaven out of greed. Anglicanism was found by King Henry VIII in England. At first, King Henry defended the Roman Catholic church, but when he wasn't able to get a divorce, he decided to start his own church in England that was virtually the same as the Roman Catholic except the king was the pope, and he could get a divorce. Finally, the ideas of protestant Calvinism began with a clergy member in Switzerland named Zwingli. His ideas were carried on and execute by a different man named John Calvin. Calvin wrote a book called The Institutes of Christian Religion which answered every religious question and united Calvinists. Calvinists believed in predestination which was the idea that God knew if you were going to heaven or hell before you were even born. These people lived their lives as best as they could assuming that they'd be going to heaven and to prove to God that they belonged in heaven. Although it started in Switzerland, it also spread to France.

The three protestant sects are Lutheran, anglstist and Calvinism. Marten Luther lead the Lutherans and his complaints to the Rome Catholic church was the priest being there and celebration. Henry the 8th made anglism so he can divorce his wife. Zwingli had the ideas to make it but he died so john Calvin made it happen. the Calvinist problems with the RCC were having a idol and that your destiny is predetermined and you have to be the best person as possible.

This caused people to be very strict with their religion.

The three main protestant sects. of Roman Catholic are Lutheranism, Angelism, and Calvinism. Lutheranism was created by Martin Luther, a monk, who clarified the wrongs of the church and nailed them on the door. He was excommunicated and later created Lutheranim, in which it has less strict rules to go to heaven. It states that all you need to go to heaven are you, faith in god, and a bible. You were not required to go to church and pray, and there was a lot less ceremony. Angleism was created by King Charles 6th when he tried to get a divorce, but was not allowed to do so due to the Roman Catholics rules against divorce. He then left the Roman Catholic church and decided to create his own religion, as he saw that Luther was able to do it. He created Angleism, and it has the same fundamental rules as Roman Catholic, except that you can get a divorce and still go to heaven. Calvinism practices the belief that your fate of going to heaven is already predetermined by god so you really don’t even have to bother being good or not, but people still be good because they are scared of not going to heaven.

Sects are small groups of religions that have broken off from the Catholic Church. The Anglican Church was founded by King Henry because he wanted to divorce his wife, which his church wouldn't allow. In the Anglican Church, the King was also the pope. Calvinism was created by Zwingli, who agreed with the church but in a different way than Luther. Calvinism was founded by John Calvin after Zwingli died in a protestant war, it also was formed in Switzerland.

The three main Protestant Sects we have learned about are Lutheranism, the Anglican Church, and Calvinism. All three of these religions are christian, but have differences from each other and the Roman Catholic Church. Lutheranism was founded by Martin Luther Martin Luther believed that the Catholic church focused too much on ceremony and too little about spirituality. He believes the ceremonies and good deeds you do on earth won’t get you into heaven, the only thing that can do that is if you believe in god and have a strong relationship with him. Lutheranism was a much simpler practice than Catholic, and focused on talking with god. Lutheranism was primarily located in modern day Germany because Martin Luther translated the Bible into German, and gave access to all the German people to the Bible. The Anglican Church was founded by King Henry the VIII. Anglican is basically the same practice as Roman Catholic, however King Henry wanted a divorce, and the Roman Catholic Church wouldn’t give him one. In response, Henry just made his new church, almost exactly like the Catholic Church where the king was pope. The Anglican Church was only in England, and King Henry made it illegal to not be anything but Anglican. Calvinism was founded by John Calvin, who carried on the work of Zwingli. Calvinist believe in Predestination, which means at the beginning of time God had already choose who was going to make it into heaven. This made the Calvinist live very disciplined lives, because they wanted to prove to God that he made a good choice in choosing them to go to heaven. Calvinism was mostly in France, and the only reason they were able to keep their religion alive was because Calvinism was made of mostly French Nobility. Calvinist and the French had religious civil wars, resulting in the Edict of Nantes, a treaty which allows Calvinists to have political and religious rights.

The three main Protestant Sects of Christianity is Lutheranism, Alican, and Calvinism. These were formed in protest of the Roman Catholic Church and each other. Lutheranism was founded by Martin Luther, and originated in what is modern day Germany. The main reason Luther created his own sect, was because the Church was selling indulgences, which he didn’t like at all. This then caused him to write the 95 Theses, about the Church. Later, King Henry 9, the King of England wanted to get a divorce from his wife, but the Church wouldn’t let him. After seeing what Luther did he formed another sect. This was called the Anglican Church, everything was the same as the Catholic Church, but getting a divorce was allowed. Lastly, is Calvinism. John Calvin was the main creator along with his predecessor, Huldich Zwingli. The Calvinist believes that God had already decided if you were going to Heaven, even before you were born and you couldn’t change that no matter what.

The three main sects are Calvinism, Anglican, and Luthran. Calvinism was thought up by Zwingli, but was created by John Calvin. They believed that people were elected at birth and god already knew if they were going to heaven or hell already. Calvinism was formed and primarily in Switzerland. Anglican, was created by King Henry and their beliefs were very similar to that of Roman Catholic, except people were allowed to get divorces. Anglican was practiced and forced in England.lastly, Luthran was created by Martin Luther who was a monk and also had a law degree. As a monk he believed the church was doing 95 things wrong and they should change it; as the church was unwilling, Luther followed his own beliefs and others began to follow him, creating Luthran. Ultimately they believed that in order to speak to god you don’t need the church or clergy, and all you need is the bible.
