Comparing the Muslim and Christian religion, the Muslim culture is much more strict and organized. For example, the Five Pillars of Islam lead the culture of Muslims as a whole. A few things that are part of their daily routine is professing their faith to the one and only god and praying five times a day. Christian culture, on the other hand, involves much more freedom in prayers and profession of faith to their one and only god. However, the two cultures are much alike in the reason that the two groups profess their faith to one god, hold prayers, and have prophets that partook in the start of the religions.

There are some similarities between the Muslim and Christan cultures. One of those similarities is that they both believe in one god. They both also believe that Jesus was the son of God. They both have a holy book and they both have places to worship their God. They both had prophets who were said to have been sent by God.

I think that the Muslim culture and Christianity are similar and different. The Muslims have different rules that Christians don’t have like praying 5 times a day, and going to Mecca, fasting for a month. Christians might have different rules that may or may not be similar in some ways. I think that they both are similar in that they share the same god, and they both have a holy book, that tells them how things happened and how they should take an approach to things. They both have a prophet, but they live in different ways. Muslim women have to cover themselves, and Christians don’t have to.

The Muslim culutre is full of trading and many goods such as spices, rugs, and even some are known for aways being on the road. Travelling and herding camels and horses. The system that they used to trade was the Silk Road. While the silk road was a very important part of most trading Christens were not really known for trade. They believed that there is only one god. They also followed the Bible as their holy book. Their religion was aloud to grow even when convert or die was one of the biggest threats going around, but they were safe along with the Jews.

The culture of the Catholics in the Middle Ages was, from what I know, pretty different from the Muslim culture. Europe in the middle ages was producing lots of art; specifically lots of religious art. Christians were allowed to depict their god unlike the muslims and so they did. They would have pictures of stories in the bible on the walls and facades of the churches. Europe also had a monarchy in the middle ages. They had things like kings, queens, and serfs. The had a class system that was different than the Muslim culture. The muslim system allowed people to move up and down it because it was just rich or poor. It wasn’t set like the Catholic beliefs. In Europe you were born into your rank and you couldn’t move out of it.

I know that the Muslim culture is very like rountine kind of style and are a very strict religion because they pray five times a day on a rug facing Mecca and they also have a holy book . One similarity that the Mulism culture and the Christian European culture share is that they both have a holy book , but different beliefs throughout the book. They both pray , but one difference that they have is that the Christian European culture doesn’t pray as much as the Muslim culture. The both share the same god.

I think that they are quite different. I’m not entirely sure on how they are different but I do have some ideas. In the Muslim culture they are nomadic because of trade, but I think that in the Christian European world the people tend to stay in one place and plant roots. I also think that given that trade in the Muslim culture they are very advanced in technology, unlike in the Christian European world where I personally feel like they were less open to new customs, so they were less advanced.

I don’t know much about the Middle Ages compared to the Muslim culture. I know that in Christianity and Islam they have the same god basically. In the European culture women did not get as many rights as the women in the Islam. In Europe it was more people and government based and not too much Bible based. People also loved to decorate churches with paintings and stained glass of god and all the other big people from the bible. They mostly stayed in the same place and didn’t trade much unless traders came to them. They also stayed close to their own cultures without changing them too much.

Muslim and Christianity are similar in that they have the same god. They believe in “God” or “Allah” which is the same god, they just have different messages that they follow. Their cultures all trade and have regulated commerce that they organize and track. They trade jewelry, spices, steel, and other things around Europe and vise versa. The Muslim culture is different because they base it off of the Qur’an and they have different political systems than the Christian European World. The Muslims also have separated sects who disagree and are enemies called the Sunni and Shia. They have different living systems where Muslims are nomadic and live in tents because houses don’t suit their environment. Christians in Europe have more permanent housing situations.

The Muslim and Christian cultures of europe can at times be very similar and very different. The Muslim culture was very advanced for their time and wasn’t afraid to embrace new cultures, while the Christian culture didn’t want to accept others and sent out crusades to “persuade” others to think their way. This is a very similar tactic to the Muslim’s convert or die technique, but the Muslims were from what I Know more lenient and allowed Christians and Jews to keep their religeon, while the crusades forced the locals to accept their methods. I don’t know if this is right or not, but I think that the caliph served the same role as the king, but the king was able to knight people and get them ready to protect the castle, crusade, or patrol the village.

The Muslim culture we learned about is different from the Christian European world we are learning about now in the way the Christian European world has kings and queens whereas the Muslim culture has a caliph. Another thing that is different is that the Muslim’s laws go based off of their Qu’ran, which is their law book for holy matters and law matters, whereas Christian Europeans have a seperate laws and law matters. The Muslim culture is much more strict in terms of their laws, and religious matters. The two cultures are similar in the way they are advanced in government.

The Muslims and Christians don’t take control of each other. They both somewhat follow the same god. They are both monotheistic. The Muslims don’t draw or paint their god like the Christians, and the Muslims pray to their god on rugs or carpets unlike the Christians. They both have a religious book. Both religions had prophets sent by God.

I believe there are many similarities and differences about the Muslim culture we have learned about and the Christian European world we have yet to learn about. For example, a similarity could be they both worship one god which is different in name, but the Muslims believed they had the same god even if the Christian’s did not. They both have a book of some sort that is around to tell them about how they should be, the Muslims Quran is much more specific to their ways of life than the Christian’s bible was. Some differences might be how they worship their god. For example, the Muslims have the five daily prayers, and they must no matter what stop, wash, and face Mecca to pray in response to a call to pray from a tower. Where as the Christians would more often just go to church and pray on certain days of the week. They aren’t as bound to specific ways of life as much as the Muslims.

Each culture is heavily influenced by the common religions of the people. The religion that a person follows has the chance of dictating their life and societal standings. The church is a very important and prominent figure in both the Muslim and Christian European cultures however, the church has this cultural influence for different reasons. The Muslims valued the church as not only as a common place of worship but as a place of law and gathering, whereas the Christian Europeans saw the church as an opportunity for a position of power.

Muslims and christians and seen pretty early as enemies. We can already see this when Charlemagne decides to send back the moors to Northern Africa but, he fails. The Christians are not that sophisticated in esthetic architecture, but they are pretty good at building tactical structures. Christians rulers did not follow their book of religion as a law. Although these two cultures have their differences, they have their similarities. For instance, both cultures thought that education was something that should be sought after. Both cultures were monotheistic and had one god.

Jewish and Christianity are similar because they both are monotheistic religions. They believe in only one God, but they have different prophets. The Muslims have the prophet Muhammad, while Christians believe that Jesus was sent to them by God. Christians also believe in the 12 disciples that helped Jesus preach about God. The Muslims only have one "preacher" at a time and that person is called the Caliph. Muslims also believe that Christians have the same God as them, but Christians don't think that's true. The Christians also tend to interpret the Bible, but the Muslims take the Qu'ran very seriously and live by it. The Quran is not only the base for their religion, but it's also like a law book to the Muslims. The Muslims have the 5 Pillars of Faith, which are kind of like the 10 Commandments in a way. The 10 Commandments are like a set of rules that tell Christians how to live the godly way. Like the Muslims, the Christians have a "profession of faith", but the Christians do it differently. You do have to admit that you believe in God, but you also have to repent from your sins and ask for forgiveness. Christians also get baptised to show that they believe in God and the water represents God washing away all their sins. There’s also communion to show that they believe that God died for them on the cross to pay for all their sins.

The Muslim culture compares and contrast with the European Christian culture. They have some similarities such as they believe in the same god. They both believe in the same god so you might think that everything is the same, but it’s not. Both cultures believe in a book, but they are separate books. The Christians book is the Bible and the Muslims book is the Quran. believe that Jesus is not God’s son and the Christians believe that Jesus is God’s true son and there savior.

The Muslim culture is different in the way that they have different beliefs within their religion. The Muslims have 5 steps to get to heaven which is as well their laws. The Christians have the bible which is what they read and learn from. They are somewhat the same in the way that they all have the same god.

One similarity they have is the fact that most of the people within Europe or the Middle East rely on their religion, whether that be Christianity or Islam. They both also used their religion to fight or to make war with surrounding areas. For example, because Pépin III was Christian, the pope asked him and his army to fight off the Lombard’s in England. Muslims used war or “convert or die” tactics to spread their religion. Yes, they did use their religion in war with totally different reasons, but they both used it to justify war. Muslims and Christians are different because they have opposing beliefs, and the pope was involved in a lot of Christian affairs going on in Europe.
