The reasons the Renaissaince started in Italy was because trade became huge in Italy during and after the crusades. The crusades made many rich, and also made Italy a big trade port. With many ideas and people coming in and out of Italy, it allowed the Italian people to create new ideas which eventually led to the Renaissance.

In Italy and southern Europe the Renaissance had started due to trading from the crusades and the Italian historical tradition had made them curious for how things worked. The trading had influenced these people to learn new ideas from new resources and materials to create work per say. Before the Renaissance, people had no idea how many things worked in their society, so their quest for knowledge sparked into the Renaissance.

The Renaissance started in Italy because Italian city-states led trade to Asia and Africa furthering knowledge from other cultures to people in Italy and Southern Europe. People of the time started thinking differently and looked for knowledge outside of the church. Also people got really interested in historical traditions like coliseums and aqueducts, making them want to incorporate old culture and learn something new.

The Renaissance started in Italy for multiple reasons. The societies that lived in Italy noticed that ancient civilizations had advanced technology but as time went on, people forgot how to recreate and use these advancements. This made them curious about problems that could be solved with ancient technology. The Crusades caused a big boom in trade making people learn more and barter and sell goods from around Europe, Africa, and Asia. In Italy, they strived to learn more about ancient Greek and Roman literature and life. This was a new age where many wanted to gain more knowledge about the world around them and fitting them in with religious teachings. In the Dark Ages, all they had to rely on were limited knowledge and christian teachings. In the Renaissance, Italians became more curious about their past and where God plays a part in the natural world around them.

It started in Italy because after/during the crusades trade was a big aspect in that area. That means that because there was so much people that the start of the Renaissance would be perfect in Italy. Also, because Artist made in a better looking place in Italy for trade so people could enjoy coming there. Italy also had historical traditions that made people curious about going there. The people from other lands came to Italy to learn more things and the others learn new things from people coming there.

The Renaissance started in Italy because it was a hotspot for trade, mostly due to the fact that it’s a peninsula. After the Crusades, trade exploded in Europe because now they had been less sheltered. Also, the introduction and rapid growth of towns allowed trade to happen easier and quicker. Italy, as well as other Southern European countries, began to learn about new ideas first because more people were moving in-and-out of the country. Italians began to start studying the Greeks and Romans which made education more important in Italian society. Also, art started to drift away from religious-specific pieces and morphed into more realistic views of the world around them. This included the use of perspective and how most pieces of art depicted common life and unexaggerated versions of it.

The reasons the Renaissance started in Italy are, most importantly, Italy was the trade capital during the Crusade, so most trade of goods such as ideas and culture happened there. This leads to people wanting to know more, in terms of religion, science, and culture. This idea spread throughout because as Italy was trading with other regions, they learned of the Renaissance movement, and started questioning their own ideals. The most questioned was the church, and the people wanted to start using logic and facts to figure out why things happened rather than just go with what the church says. At this time, there were also diseases spreading around, and they obviously wanted to find a cure or cause for these ailments. It was the Dark Ages at that point, so they didn’t know much, but all around the Italian cities, there were aqueducts and fancy pieces of architecture, which made them curious as to how they had been built so long ago, and they started learning about how to build those pieces themselves.

One of the reasons as to why the Renaissance started in Italy was because Italy had many great minds at the time. Italy had people like Leonardo Da Vinci, Michaelangelo, etc. Italy was also the place where many crusaders went to after the Crusades. When they came to Italy, they brought knowledge that they had learned from the Muslims during the Crusades. The Renaissance also had inspiration from Religion. A lot of the art was inspired by Christianity.

The Renaissance started in Italy because the crusades warriors were being sent to Italy to then travel by boat to the Holy Land, this also lead to the trade between the Muslim's culture and their culture through the merchants taking the soldiers over. This trade led to new ideas and new knowledge which usually is accompanied by questions about how their lives are like and how they could change it. This questioning led to many great works of art and literature showing how the world could really be and what we could invent or start doing to make life better for everyone. Due to this, everyone started to think more for themselves and an increase in knowledge started, aka the Italian Renaissance.

The Renaissance started because of the mass amounts of trade coming from the crusades. The main ports for the trade ships coming from Africa and Asia were in Italy. This made the boom of the Renaissance era start in Italy. Another main cause was the grand historical architecture in Italy. People saw things like the Colosseum, Pantheon and aqueducts which made them want to step up their culture. These were people who were staying in makeshift huts amongst some of the greatest architecture in history.

The Renaissance started in Italy because of trade. When the Crusades occurred, the ship’s crew would go to the Holy Land and see things there that they didn't have back home. They would bring these things back to Italy and that started the trade routes. They also started to expand their trade routes, causing them to learn more from different cultures. They started to trade with both Africa and Asia. This increase in trade caused the Renaissance. Another thing that caused the Renaissance was that there were these historical buildings, such as the Coliseum, that were amazing all around them in Italy, but they didn’t know how to make them. They lacked the knowledge, and knowing that their ancestors had that knowledge but they didn’t motivated them to learn. They felt as if they were less than their ancestors because over time they had lost the knowledge of how to build and create things. They wanted to learn what their ancestors knew, and they also wanted to be able to do more. This caused an increase in people wanting to learn, ultimately causing the Renaissance.

The reason that the Renaissance started in Italy is because when the crusaders came back from the holy land they would land in Italy. They brought new ideas and things to trade from the foreign land. Another reason why the Renaissance started in Italy is because the Greeks/Romans that had lived there built structures like aqueducts. Italy didn’t know how to use the transportation that their own ancestors used. This made them curious in finding out how their ancestors used advanced structures.

The Renaissance started in Italy because that is where the trade was going on. The towns, city-states, and crusades we all apart of beginning the Renaissance. The Crusaders would trade to different places, and the towns and city-states all started in Europe because they were moving on from the Feudal System. The changes that they made were a huge step compared to everyone else and they were probably the first to realize that they had no knowledge, so the Renaissance started a new Era where people were starting to think about all of there actions, and Italy was the first to start it.

When talking about the reasons behind the Renaissance starting in Europe, the influence that older cultural landmarks had on Italians living in the 1300s is an important concept. Being surrounded by these amazing architectural pieces made them strive to achieve the same knowledge that their ancestors once had. Trade was also a major factor in the start of the Renaissance because a lot of trade happening then was done by the Europeans of that time. This sudden boom in trade is attributed to the Crusades as these wars resulted in newfound knowledge from the Middle east being spread throughout Europe.

The Renaissance started in Italy in Italy as after the crusades, it became the initial place where all the goods landed in Europe to be traded. Also, the Italian population was living near buildings that were created by ancient Romans and they grew up listening to the feats of the late Romans. This might have sparked the Renaissance as the population felt ignorant as they were not able to recreate such wonders that they heard the Romans had accomplished. The Italian population was mostly living in dirty cities and were terrorized by the mob, they wanted a change.

The Renaissance started in Italy because that was where trade began to increase. Because there was a rise in trade, people from all over Europe and Asia were travelling to Italy for trade. When this happened, ideas and culture were also exchanged and introduced to other countries. There were also people that began to focus on the culture and ideas of the Romans and Greeks. Historical evidence of Italy like the Collusiums also inspired others to want to be able to build and create like those of the past.
